Meet our Registered Dietitians

What is a Registered Dietitian?

A registered dietitian is a nutrition professional. Registered dietitians are your most credible, objective source of nutrition information. In addition, they are trained in the use of nutrition to prevent and control disease. Look for the initials R.D. after your nutritionist's name. These credentials indicate that the practitioner has completed an accredited 4-year educational program, 1200 hours of supervised practice and passed a national exam. Registered dietitians play a vital role in the management of your health. As nutrition experts, dietitians must remain abreast of the current literature to provide accurate, medically appropriate information.

RD's can put you on a path to lowering weight, eating healthfully and reducing your risk of chronic disease. CALL (860) 404-2823 to Make an appointment today!
